The 2011 GBBC takes place February 18 through February 21.
Heard of it? If not, you gotta go here and check it out. We do it as a daycare every couple of years. It’s such a great way to teach the kids, first all about birds and second to count and third patience. It even works with Hannah and she’s just 2.
You can count birds for one day for 15 minutes, all days for 15 minutes, in one place, two places or more. It’s easy, fun and a great learning experience.
You gotta give it a try. Click here and see!
Take care my friends and have a blessed day.

That sure sounds cute! I'm going to start counting the crows and sparrows here. :D It'll better my concentration!
That's great! I'll have to try it!
That sounds like fun. :)
What a great idea! My youngest would love this:)
That is a great idea! I bet the kids have so much fun counting the birds!
That is such a great idea. My son and I were just talking about the different birds we have here in New Zealand. I think we will have to give this a go.
WoW!! i am going to try that out with my little one!
I haven't heard of this, but I sure do enjoy watching birds. It really is peaceful. It may not be a big deal in your part of the country, I don't know, but here it is a real treat to see a bald eagle. I just heard the other day that there is one nesting less than a mile from my house. In fact, I saw it at the lake the other day, but he/she had no interest in seeing me. :-)
