Weekend....

I do not know why weekends have to go by so fast. There is always so much to do and so little time to really get it done in. I did get to go garage saling on Saturday morning and then took the scout cans and recycled them, got $40.00 more to add to the general fund. We are going to be using the cans to pay for the troops to get their CPR and first aid training done. We have about 2o signed up already so a good turn out is planned. Then there was a gradutaion open house for one of my scouts then we had dinner at our best friends. Sunday brought a trip to Brainerd for groceries for the store then another graduation open house for one of my little girls all grown up. She came when I first opened 9 years ago and now she's gradutating and going to beauty school. Then we pulled some more fence. Now I'm beat and ready to shower and start my week. With school out I get my girls back which is so nice. I'm not sure our plans for this week, it's two weeks to Father's day so I do know we are going to make some homemade apricot syrup for them and then I think a pencil holder or tool holder. We'll see.

Last week for Jon's birthday.
Mike let them play his guitar hero
game and the boys loved it. Mike
is so good to share with these kids.
There are of course those hand off toys
and things but in the end there really
aren't to many of them.

The kids so love going over to Marks to feed and
play with the goats and sheep. The last time there
he let them go into the pen with them and they just
romped and played together. Wilbur (our dog) is
the same as the kids, he loves to be with them all
and part of the group.

Well it's that time, shower time and then bed time so can start the week out fresh and ready to face whatever my little ones can hand me. Take care everyone and God Bless.

My new ring.....

This is the ring that my mama got for me. I have wanted this ring (or this kind of one) for as long as I can remember and last month JCP had a good sale on jewelry and there is was the perfect ring. Since the finger I wear it on was dislocated a year ago is much bigger in the knuckle then the rest it had to be re sized but they called last night and now I have it. Other then my wedding ring I have never owned a ring that was real, real pearl, real diamonds. Oh mama made me cry by getting this for me, she is the greatest and not because of the ring either! We noticed after I got it on and was wearing it that the diamonds are in the shape of a butterfly (could be a flower too but since butterflies are my favorite I chose this). It's beautiful, almost as beautiful as my mama.

I had to share this with you. I hope that you all are having a superb day. Take care and God Bless!

Goats and sheep....

Well I finally down loaded the pictures from the kids feeding the sheep and then the goats got into the picture too and wanted love and attention. Today I even had an extra little girl who got to see and play with the goats. They are just the most precious little ones, yes the sheep and goats too. :o)

Tonight we planted another 5 trees, this makes about 30 so far and Jim is talking another dozen or so and then should have enough for this year. Though I love the look of all the trees I do get tired of planting. When we moved here 20 years ago it was just a field we had hayed all my life and now there are hundreds of trees 30-50'. This is sorta what it looks like but this is winter, summer looks so much nicer.

Well it's bed time and it sure was a long day but a good one. Take care my friends. God Bless!!

My boys.....

Oh they really aren't my boys but I have got to tell you, boy scouts are one of a kind and I am so proud to be part of their lives. This past weekend we had a paint ball afternoon. It wasn't all boy scouts, it was really just a bunch of young adults and adults getting together having the time of their lives. Having a get together like this is so good for the mind and soul but a tad hard on the body but still wouldn't trade the time together for anything. Even Wilbur my dog got to come along and he got so much attention and love, he was in heaven too.

And one other grand event this weekend too. We went to an Eagle Court of Honor for Winchester Hasskamp. He is Troop 52, 52nd Eagle Scout. CONGRATULATIONS Winchester!!!

And finally, I promised a better picture of my little ones feeding the sheep. Well here's a couple.

Good night and God bless!!!

Memorial Day....

A day to remember just how much so many people have given so that we may have the lives that we have. Oh life isn't perfect, but in this great world of ours we sure could have it a lot worse. Could you imagine not being able to worship our Lord? How about saying what we want to about our government? Voting and getting a chance to change something? Imagine not being able to do this.
Thank you and God bless the USA!!

Ohhhhh, you gotta check this out.....

Go to http://www.favecraftsblog.com/shrink-plastic-jewelry/ and check out this cool bracelet they made with plastic. I read the blog post and it says "Remember, you can recycle number 6 plastic, often the kind used to make to-go food and berry containers, into colorful jewelry like this. Any number 6 plastic will shrink (you’ll see a number somewhere)." I have some shinky dink plastic I think I'll try with the girls soon. They'd love this.
I just had to share this first thing this morning. I'll be back later on I'm hoping with new pictures of feed the baby sheeps but we'll see. I'm suppose to have company in the morning and then my mama in the afternoon so maybe a next week project.
Have a super day today. I'm planning on it!! :o)

Thursday, May 21, 2009

Just a short post tonight. It was such a perfect day outside today. This evening I got to go to the greenhouse and pick up a few pansies and my hanging tomato plant. Each year I get a hanging cherry tomato plant to hang up near the porch so that my little ones can eat them any time they ask. This year I have a young gardener in my group and he is so excited, I am going to let him have a space in the garden to plant a few plants. He can do a few seeds and a couple plants all his own.

Today I took the kids up to my uncles home, he lives about a 1/2 miles away and the boys got to bottle feed the new baby sheep. I didn't remember my camera but did take my cell phone so took a couple of pictures. Here's a couple that are fair.
Well my day is done. I hope your day was as blessed as mine was. Take care and good night.

Garage Sale find and....

Good afternoon. It finally is warm today, 88* but very windy. You won't hear any complaining from me though, I'd rather be hot then cold any day.

I wanted to share my garage sale find with you. Last weekend I found this John Deere light that didn't work. I tested the cord and found a bad spot in it so I put in an on/off switch which really for a night light is a good idea anyways and cleaned it all up. I paid a whole $1.00 for the light, had the switch and now have the perfect gift for Jon's 5th birthday. He loves tractors and John Deere is the best he says so just perfect. Check it out....

Then today the boys and I did some more rhubarb. They wanted to help cut so out came the butter knives and then sawed away at it. We got 4 more quarts canned so a start for next winter. Still tons more out there to do but we'll get there. As you can see in the background the boys helped me make cake and cupcakes too. For extra income I cook my husbands store lunch a couple times a week and today they got chicken pepper hot dish and a spice cake. The boys love helping in the kitchen at any time, just like Mike did when he was little.

I'm hoping that this fall the apple supply is huge so can get lots of that frozen and canned too. This weekend is the beginning of the gardening, I love walking bare foot in the fresh dirt. AHHH!!!

Well tonight we are off to help a scout on his Eagle project. We are working at our local hospital's healing garden. I'm glad it clouded over so that it'll be easier working.

So that's it for today. I hope that all is going grand for you all. Take care and God Bless!

Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Last post for today. Today I cut the first batch of rhubarb and made it into sauce. I'm going to make cobbler tomorrow and also freeze just cut up rhubarb to add to apple sauce in the fall. I had never made apple/rhubarb sauce before last fall and it is the best tasting sauce ever I think I like it even better then either just apple or rhubarb sauce.
I love spring and the new arrivals of all good things. Soon it's time to start planting my garden. Jim is going to till it one more time and it's time to get the seeds in and then late next week after the last danger of frost I'll get the plants in.
Well that's that for today.

Saving money

I am forever clipping coupons and trying to save as much money as possible. Most times I can save $4-5.00 a shopping trip and once in awhile even more but lots of times the coupons I have are not what I need. A few days ago I decided to see what I could find to help get the coupons I need. I found coupons.com. It's a website that, after you download their coupon printer, it prints off coupons that you can use and they are a lot of what a normal person would use. Anything from toilet paper to coffee to crackers and lots more. You have to download the coupon printer so that the bar code will work at check out. I'm hoping between the coupons in the paper, the ones that I get from my mother-in-law, a daycare mom and these I can even save more money. With my daycare numbers low it makes for a much smaller income and I need to save whatever is possible. I am sure it's the same with just about everyone out there. Take a look at this site and see if it is something you could use.
If anyone has any other ideas for saving money I would love to hear about them.
I hope that all is well my friends. Take care and God Bless.

I almost forgot....

The mail swap is going to be so cool. Today the boys got their letters written and tomorrow will get a drawing done and then we'll get them sent off. 4 of the 5 are going to Australia and one to Ohio. At a garage sale this past weekend I got a wall map that I'm going to put up so the kids can see where their mail is going to and coming from. The girls will get their letters off the first week in June after they are done in school. The girls have letters going to Australia, Canada and Utah. I hope that they get a pen pal or two and get to share a little bit about their lives here in Minnesota and to learn about someone else's life. Such a cool experience for them.

Just had to share.

A beautiful day.....

Summer finally showed up today. It was just plain beautiful out there. Anton and I worked on the mower and while he napped this afternoon I got part of the yard done. I did manage in the first 40' to get stuck which was a feat to get unstuck. I tried the 4-wheeler with the wench but that didn't budge so had to go to mama's and get her mini blazer and pulled it out with that. I didn't get the full yard done but the part that was in the need of it most. Then this afternoon mama came over for a visit. I so love it when she does that. We sat on the porch swing and just chatted for an hour. Tonight we had roadside garbage pick up and a parent's meeting for scouts. All went great and then we got to enjoy a pot luck. There is such a variety of food, some so tasty others a challenge. On my, the graduation open houses, I have 5 that we are already invited too and I know of at least 3 more to come. I haven't a clue as to what to give them all. I know all graduates need money but with a group of 8-10 I don't think that's possible. I'll think of something.

Remember when I said I'd share some jewelry I made. Well here is a piece I made special for the Miss Deaf Awareness fund raiser. Their colors are sapphire and silver so made this for them. The fund raiser was in St. Paul and I heard it had an excellent turn out and the jewelry piece brought them in a fair price.

My best friend and I make lots of jewelry every year and sell about 500 pieces a year. It is so much fun watching people ohhh and ahhh over our stuff. We guaranteed our jewelry and in all the stuff we've sold I think we have had only 10 or so piece returned to be repaired and most of it was just abuse but we fix gladly and am happy that people enjoy our jewelry.

Well it's just about that time to turn in for the night. I have early daycare tomorrow so that means up at 4:30 am. I am hoping for another beautiful day tomorrow. I think I'll take my brood fishing. Take care and God Bless.

Nap time, ahhhhh....

Yes, I know it's Saturday but a couple times a month I have daycare for one of my parents that has a truck driver for a husband and she's a lab tech. It started out as a very cold, cloudy, windy day but it's not longer cloudy but still chilly and windy. My son's a scout camp this weekend but I did get a call from him this morning and other then being a bit chilly all was well. I have two things to share with you today, one is my fantastic garage sale find yesterday the other my nap time project. Okay first the .25 cent garage sale find with a surprise in the sleeve.

Don't you just love it. He has a little room to spare so hopefully it'll fit him for the fall season and in the sleeve was a Cars brand new with tag hat. You want to talk about a happy little boy. I don't do to much garage saling for the daycare kids but once in awhile you just can't beat a good deal. Oh I can't say I don't do too much because I'm thinking at least 50% of our toys are garage sale finds. My boy scout troop has a garage sale each early summer so I donate what the kids haven't been playing with and start picking up new to them toys for the winter months. It works out great and what a good way to recycle and reuse.

Now my nap time project. Kim was making these this past week and taught me how so I put her lesson to good use and made myself 4 pouch to help carry the stuff/junk I carry in my tote. No more having to search when there's a special pouch for each item. One will fit the sunglasses, one person care stuff, my coupons and ....well I don't know for sure yet but I bet I'll fill it with something. Thank you Kim for giving me this idea. I still want to make a few more placemat boxy pouches and when I do I'll share them. I did make one a while ago that made it on the Dollarstore blog because I'm using Dollarstore placemats and a freebie zipper so other then about 30 minutes of my time it's pretty cheap. Mike took the last one I made and uses it for his PSP and games and it works perfectly for that. I want to make one for the card games we take to the BWCA with us and another for a first aide kit.
Well nap time is over, the mama should be on her way here shortly so I had better get going. I hope that you all are having a super weekend. For me, it's time to get outside and mow, that is if the grass dried from all that rain we had yesterday. I'll check that out once the kids head home. Take care and God Bless!!!

Good Evening....

Oh the fun of garage saling. I took mama and daddy for 3 hours this morning. We found lots of good deals. I only took a few home with me but the ones I did I love. I got a few things for the daycare and a pretty little bowl for me and then a found some jewelry for my jewelry business so I can make into charms and such. I gotta share some pictures of that soon, but first.....
When we went to my friend's in Crosby last week my little ones got to pet her billy goat. The kids loved it. Jon and Justin are feeding the goat and Hannah had to see if she could touch it. We had such a great time there. I have known Cindy since I was in 4th grade or so and that was back in the late 70's so it's been awhile and I am so blessed to have such a great friend like her. She has her own blogspot if anyone is interested in checking her out. It's rajdog1.blogspot.com
Well my son is off to camp this weekend with his O.A. Brotherhood. He is so involved with scouting. He is working on his 6th palm and what that means he has earned 30 merit badges above and beyond what is needed to become an Eagle Scout. In March next year he will be 18 and to old for boy scouts as a scout but he can become an assistant scout leader or a merit badge counselor. He will be part of O.A. (which is called the Order of the Arrow) for a life time if he chooses and is vice president of our Venture Crew. Our troop started Venture Crew 52 which is co-ed scouting for youth 14-21. It's more adventuresome and challenging and so good for Mike. I work with two of the three groups Mike is part of, I'm not part of the O.A., I chose not to be because the other two keep me hopping enough.
Oh I've gotta share this, yesterday in the mail came this note card for Mike. He opened it and smiled and smiled. In it was a thank you from a little girl that had received one of his blankets that he made during his Eagle Project with Project Linus. Project Linus is a organization that uses volunteers to hand make blankets that are given to 0-18 year old kids that have had some kind of tragedy in their lives. Mike, family, friends and scouts made 150 fleece blankets for Project Linus and some where kept here in our area and some went north. He has received two thank you's in the past two years now and each has touched his heart and mine. If you want to check out www.projectlinus.org and learn more about this terrific organization.
Okay off to do some paperwork and relax a little bit. I have daycare at 5:00 tomorrow morning so will be heading to bed, I hope, at a normal time. Take care my dear friends.

Mike....

Last week my friend from New York asked my son to build her some robin nesting boxes so today he started and got two done. Well they are drying right now and then he wants to paint them for her but I wanted to share a picture of Mike working hard on her boxes. Next week he'll build her the two barn swallow nesting boxes. We'll show you completed boxes when done but to work with Mike today was terrific. We, of course, argue our way though the building process but he knows what he's doing and I try to show I know something once in awhile. I wouldn't of traded this afternoon for anything.

We also worked together cleaning out the flower beds of old dirt and getting them ready for planting. We have another couple of weeks before we can do any plant planting but seeds can go in next week. The dirt was still ice cold when we did it so I know it'll still be a little bit but if it ever warms up and stays that way then it'll be time. This morning when I got up it was only 28* and snaining, I don't think a tomato would be happy in that yet. I didn't get to the mower or mowing but maybe tomorrow after mama and I go garage saling. Jim would like me to get him more trees too. We got the 8 planted from last week and needs another 10 or so. Lets see, in the 19 years we've lived here I think we've planted well over 300 trees. We've gone from a cow pasture to our own forest. One day I'll take a picture to share our outdoors with you.

Well the end of my day is fast approching, take care and sleep well my friends.

Sharing...

I finally got the candles today for one of my favorite things. This jug I got from Terri, who shares her colloidal silver with us, and I fell in love with it. I asked her if I could keep it and she of course said yes. I was thinking about cutting the top off and making a vase but have yet figured out how to do that without spending lots of money so while out on my Ladies Night Out a month ago I found this candle abra at one of the particapating stores. I only had to spend $5.00 or so and then Dollar Store candles. I got the charm at the same place too. I love how it turned out. I filled it with water to keep it stable outside. I did use different candles the other night when Jim and I sat outside and chatted the evening away. The little purple candle is just drilled into a piece of birch and wrapped with Dollar Store flowers. These were left over parts and pieces from a bigger one I made for my mom. It's fun just doing something with what's on hand.
Well, tomorrow I have my mammagram and then am going to go and visit Kim. She is always making new and exciting things and I love going there to chat and share. Good night my friends.

Just a quick one....

Last night I went to Wordle.net and made up this list of words to share with you so you could get an idea just what it is. I used all kinds of words to do with blogging and crafting and all and then printed it out, scanned it, uploaded it so I could share it with you. It is just the neatest thing and the ideas. I made Christmas and birthday gifts from this site but putting in my friend and my name and then lots of words that connect us together. You can do just about anything, give it a whirl.

Special Tote I made

I wanted to share an unique tote I made this winter. The fabric is something I designed and had printed at Spoonflower. The designed I made came from wordle. This is the coolest website, you should try it. Check out http://www.wordle.net/ and see what I mean about so cool. Then check out http://www.spoonflower.com/ and see all the cool fabrics people have designed. The little charm I made to go on the small bag says to me, "a key to my crafting heart".

I did a lot of sewing this winter and do have a couple of other pouches I want to share with you.

Here is a couple bags. The tulip one I gave to my mom's friend going though chemo so that she could carry along a few items to help take her mind off of her treatments. The little bag holds a pack of cigs, lighter and some gum.

Here's a few more. The two purple ones one of my little guys gave to his mama and sister, the one with tools on it is my sons shaving case.

Well that's all for tonight. I hope you had a terrific day and sleep well tonight. Remember that, This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. A wonderful thought to fall asleep on and a even better thought to step into the new day in. God Bless!!!

It's Tuesday....

Well it's Tuesday already and it looks like rain. I don't think I'll mind a rainy day today as long as by Thursday or Friday it's dry so I can mow for the first time this year. It takes a good 5 hours to mow here when it's just one so hopefully it's a beautiful sun shiny day but today first.

We are going to visit my friend in Crosby. She has her grand babies today so we are going to have a play date and get to visit a bit.

I took a picture of my lantern I got this weekend. It looked so good last night lite. Check it out.

I can hear my little ones stirring so had better get moving. They come at 5:00 each morning so I head them back to bed until they wake up. It makes for a long day when I have all my little ones for the day but today I'm done at 3:30 so I think I just might try sand blasting the miners pan. It's been awhile since I used the sand blaster so may take a bit of set up but I can't wait to get it painted and start working on the mosaic part.

Have a blessed day today.

Monday, May 11, 2009

Good Monday morning...

Well the waffle iron I got for free at the garage sale works terrific. We had fresh waffles for breakfast and enough for Mike to have tomorrow morning. YEAH!!!

Today I wanted to share a tote I had made last month with you. It's so springish that it's perfect to show off today. This is what it looked like before I lined it.

I made this with contact paper, magazine pages and a sewing machine. At first I tried to have the contact paper have no wrinkles in it, not with the fabric but just wrinkles in general, but it didn't work that way and now that it's done I love it. It's lined with the most beautiful fabric. The little velvet bag is also lined in the same fabric.

Well enough for now, I started this post at something like 7:00 this morning but just now got to finish it up while the kids are eating lunch. We worked outside this morning, then went for a walk in the woods and then a cart ride. They helped me bring out the fire hose and clean the porch off and water the new trees and after they left to play a bit I got under the porch taken care of. With our chickens free range that means they are under the porch in the late afternoon and on the porch when they think they want a treat. I'll share a picture of them later on when there's a bit more time.

Take care and have a stupendous afternoon.

I so wanted too....

I wanted to put a button on my blog here but can not figure it out so I'll just have to tell you about it. Starting in a couple of weeks my kids and I are going to be pen pals to some other kids in this world. Christie at pigeon-pair.blotspot.com is hosting a Kid's Mail Swap. She's never had a daycare sign up for this but I thought it would be something good for my little ones to do and a good ways to learn world geographic. She split my kids up into two groups, the two olders ones together and then the three youngest ones. I'll keep you posted on how far away they get to send their letters and goodies but I bet it'll be great. I always look for something different for my kids to learn, something interesting and challenging but fun too.

My Mother's day was terrific. I didn't get to go fishing like I had planned but we did go out for breakfast, picked up more fencing and feed for the baby chicks and then home to work on the fencing. We are only doing what we can afford each week or two but am caught up until next week. We went to an orchard today too, I'm looking for apple trees but they sure aren't cheap. We did however get a terrific deal on spurce trees. Buy 3 get one free and the trees were on sale for $4.00 a peice instead of $26.00 like normal so we got 8 for less then 1/6 the normal price. We each pitched in $10.00 plus change and now have our work cut out for us this week. Trees are good and pine trees, well I love then since even in the winter I can still see green.

Well another week is about to begin so I had better finish up from this week. Take care, God Bless.

Saturday, May 9, 2009

I wanted to also share with you what my son made me for my birthday and Mother's Day. It is so beautiful and since he's an Eagle Scout that's why the scouting etching and also the eagles in the cabinet. I was so proud of him and it fits so perfectly in our home. I just wanted to share with you.

Now go and enjoy your Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day

I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day!!!! Mike and Jim are taking me to Nisswa for breakfast and then a bit of shopping. Today was a great day. I took my mama and daddy garage saling. We found a couple really good deals. I got a new oak kitchen chair for $5.00 which really was good since the ones I have are slowly dying. Then some cool lantern candle lights. I got them cleaned up with a tea light in them and I'm impressed for .50 a good deal for all three. I also got a mining pan that I'm going to sand blast and repaint and maybe put a mosaic tile design on the inside for a bird bath. My final purchase was two brand new Columbia rain coats for my parents, both for $5.00. I took $15.00 with me and came home with money, so cool. Oh I also got these really cool 5"x5" framed mirrors. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them but I'll come up with something.
Well have a terrific Mother's Day, I know I will.
Take care and God Bless!!!

Friday, May 8, 2009

What happened to our sun? I was hoping for a sunny warm day but right now it's not so, maybe later on. Today is one of those days that there is so much that has to be done. I do have one little one today but just for part day. We are going to be taking the Boy Scout alum. cans to be recycled and then visit my friend. I have a physical today and then when all that is did and done with it's time to head to a different area and set up for our scouts hot dog/brats fund raiser. We have such a great troop and crew that working with them is such a treat. I have been involved with scouting since my son was a tiger cub so that means at least 12 years so far and I don't see it ending either, even when Mike is in college and all I want to be part of this troop. They need me like I need them so it's a match. Mike is my only son and pride and joy. I'd like to share a picture with you so you can see just why he makes me so proud.

My daycare kids love him to death, he is their bother and playmate and they love it when he's off with them. He works in the family business so doesn't have to much time off to just play but once in awhile while the kids are on vacation he'll take the day and play with them. They have such respect for him. For the oldest she's been here 9 years and it's sorta like the older brother/younger sister relationship. I just love it.

Just so you know, the engine3 or umengine3 part is from the fact that we own two local old fire trucks (one's a 1940 and the other a 1961) and each fall we participate in Fire Safety week at our local school. When we first started over 12 years ago the kindergartners didn't really get to be part of Fire Safety week so we brought in our fire trucks for rides and investigation time. Since than we have given over 50 rides and taught some fire safety issues to well over 600 students. Neither my husband nor I are on the fire department since we live just to far out of town in the country but both have talked to and learned things to teach the kids. Anyway, I just wanted to share the reasons for the name.

I made this for my mama for Mother's Day and the other one for my friends birthday. While watching Decorating Cents one afternoon I saw a man making a big one of these for a center piece so sorta took the idea and made it smaller and this is what I got. The are so pretty in the evenings, the light flickers off the glass marbles and is just so warm and inviting. I used a cheap glass bowl from Wal-mart, under a dollar, Dollar Store marbles for a dollar and that stinky E-6000 glue. I did have to read the directions though, you gotta put glue on the marble and glass first and let sit for 5 minutes before putting them together otherwise you're playing catch as the marbles are falling off. Once I was smart and read it was so much easier.
Okay, gotta run. Time for some breakfast for my wee one and chores. We have 50 adult chickens and 30 babies plus 3 ducks that insist I let them out and feed them. They are more pets then anything and reward me with no bugs anywhere on our property or my parents and about 3 or more dozen eggs a day. Guess what Anton's getting for breakfast ;o)
Take care and God Bless!!!

I just read what I wrote and it doesn't look to bad minus the grammer mistakes which I'll read over better next time. Enjoy and God Bless!!

Just starting out

Well my friend has been telling me it's time to share my life with others so I'm going to do my best and try. I am very new at this, in fact I just started reading blogs just a few short months ago. I am a very busy woman just like most of you out there but will try to add something new and intersting every few days or so.

I think the first thing I'd like to share with you is the gift my daycare kids and I made for their mama's. It is the neatest thing and though I don't know where my friend got the directions to make it I'll give her the credit for the idea. Ubercrafter is her blog spot and her ideas, WOW are they good. They a fork easels made with forks I got at Wal-mart for 3/$1.00. I spent the day on Monday taking pictures of the kids and then mounted them on pieces of cardboard and scrapbooking paper. The mama's loved them.

I have another picture I'll share with you today, I took my little ones fishing today and my dad came with so I knew that everyone was safe and taken care of. Their idea of fishing is casting and reeling it in and doing it all over again. We "caught" weed fish but there were happy and it is so fun doing different things with my little ones.

Well that is all for my first post. I hope that this is something that will interest someone. If you visit my post if you could leave a comment telling me what you think I'd really enjoy hearing from you. There will be lots more coming with my life as a mom, scout mom, beader, crafter, outdoors person. Thank you for stopping by.
