HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!

We finished up your valentine craft Friday. It turned out really pretty. Here’s what we did…

First shave the crayons on to wax paper. Add a little glitter.

Then use an old iron and melt the two pieces of wax paper together.

Here’s what you get. Some beautiful colors all melted together.

Then cut the paper into heart shapes, use embroidery floss, a dowel and tape and put them together.

And here’s what you have. A beautiful sun catcher.

If you want better directions we got this idea from Martha Stewarts Crayon Heart craft.

We’ve done this before with fall leaves, snowflakes and summer flowers. It’s such a pretty craft and something the kids can do.

So have you hugged your sweetie today? Bobby, the monster kitty, gave Mike some Bobby love.

This is the love he gave me.

Well at least he lives up to his name, MONSTER BOBBY!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!! Have a great and blessed day.

Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Julie. Love the crafts project. I need to remember that so that when the grand kids are a little older I can help them do something like this. I remember doing the melted crayon thing when I was in kindergarten. So much fun!
