First before I forget…like I’d do that to you guys.. I am having a give away on my life style change blog. Click here and enter. It’s easy and you could win a $35.00 gift code to one of CSN 200 stores. The give away is limited to the USA so sorry guys from far away.
Next I made this for mama this week. She loves my homemade laundry soap and I always put it into some kind of plastic container or bag but last week Mike bought those really good cookies in a tin and I was staring at that tin trying to figure out something to do with it and it hit me I can do this….
Then remember I told you about Mike’s village and his cabinet? Well here’s how that turned out. I love it and it’s so safe from the wee ones.
I also have started decorating the little tree daddy and I got last weekend. I love the pot Kim made for me. The kids and I strung beads yesterday for it and next week am going to make gingerbread people and some snowflakes. I’ll share as we go.
See who came to visit us right up at the house yesterday? He was eating the birdseed while Wilbur and Bobby were in the house watching him. I didn’t get that picture because by time I was done getting this one they wanted out to play chase.
Something yummy for your tummy and it was easy to prepare, easy to bake and good for you! Oven roasted squash, tomatoes, peppers, onions, red potatoes with minced garlic and seasonings.
Last but not least…well two things really. Do you remember the list I told you about, the “Thankful for” list? I am thinking this is a great idea for the new year. Doing one each month because it made me think each day, something different to be thankful for and not just the usual stuff. The extra stuff.
Now my biggest blessing. And nap time!
I hope you all have a great weekend, one filled with fun, family, relaxing and God’s Blessings. Take care my friends.

Julie,
Great post, I love your soap tin which was very creative way to recycle the cookie tin. Your tree is wonderful and I can not wait to see it with the gingerbread men.
I hope you have a great weekend.
