We started our weekend out with Mike selling Christmas trees for the boy scouts. See the writing on the wall. Mike’s first year for selling trees was 2003. He was 11 years old then. Wilbur loves meeting and greeting people, especially the wee ones.

While Mike was working the tree lot I walked around town and visited some stores I haven’t been in for awhile. We have a new quilt store that has some amazing looking fabric. I got to go to another store called the Moose Caboose. I didn’t have my camera with but my cell phone took a couple pictures to share what she has. The two most favorite things I saw in there were wood cut outs. One was the shape of Minnesota and said….Minnesota, two seasons…swat and shovel. Boy is that true. The other one was Live Fart Laugh. I couldn’t help but like that one, it’s so true.

Today we went to the cities. Jim found a snow blower on craigslist so we went and picked that up and then we got to go to Cabela’s and had a fantastic breakfast and did a bit of shopping. I love the center attraction and always try to remember to bring my camera, again thank goodness for my cell phone.

It was a good weekend with some me time and family time. Now it’s a new week. A busy week with lots of ideas and plans.

Take care my friends and have a great and blessed week.
