Geo-caching….

Do you do this? If you don’t you’ve got to give it a try. It only takes a GPS and it doesn’t have to be a great one either and some patience and the love of outdoors. Mike and I found 2 out of 4 yesterday. Really one was removed by the DNR so we shouldn’t even count that one. It is so relaxing, so invigorating and so much fun being out with Mike. We are called M&M (Mike and Mom) in the geo-caching website. We leave little M&M characters as prizes along with either hot wheels or tops Mike made in school. It’s hard to explain so I’ll just share some pictures I took and if I think something needs explaining I’ll do that next to the picture. Anyways, gotta try the geo-caching if you haven’t yet. We need to do it more often. So now the pictures…

These are where we found our treasures. The next bunch of pictures is a mountain bike trail we found near the Croft Mine in Crosby. It’s not officially opened yet but we walked it and there has been bikes up there, in fact when we were leaving a couple were out there playing. We were so impressed with this trail. Tomorrow Mike is going to play on the trail and I’m going to walk it with Wilbur. Well here’s a bunch of beautiful pictures and things inviting to mountain bikers.

Before we left we went to an old campground we use to go to. It’s closed off now to make room for this mountain bike trail and though it was sorta sad to see it’s also nice to see them using it for fun instead of just letting it go to seed. This is Yawkey Pit.
