Guess who visited me this morning?

I don’t get cardinals very often, maybe once every couple of years and just as he’s passing by. He stopped today and ate a bit, sang to me and now is gone. I took a few pictures and this one is the best on that came out. Gotta share you know.

It’s a beautiful day today. A bit chilly at 39* but sunny. To bad the daycare kids are sick and outside time will be limited. Oh well, at least we can enjoy the sunshine.

I started a list on my fridge, “Thankful for”, wrote the numbers 1-31. Now I promised myself it won’t be one of those lists that say family, kids, cars, money…that kind of thankful for, which I am but this list will be more thought out. The 1st I wrote, WAHM. I am one of the lucky few that get to stay home and work. I work hard with these kids, I love them to death but they love me too. This is one huge thing to be thankful for and to be blessed with. Day 2 is Telephones. Do you know what life would be without them? I can’t imagine not sharing my day with Kim or Brenda or Terri. I couldn’t imagine not calling and talking to my mama or daddy or even great grandma when I want too. There are times a person just can’t get out of the house to visit in person and a phone call is the ticket to the connection. I love my cell phone too. It’s my connection to Jim and Mike while they are off working. Or when Mike is going to school. Mike calls me, texts me and make sure I’m okay and if we didn’t have cell phones I wouldn’t know how his day is going. Today is Day 2. It’s sunshine. Yep the sun is good for lots of things but it make me a better person. A more relaxed person, a happier one, a more outgoing, energetic one. When the winter blues get here I find it horrible hard at times to be this person I love. So I am thankful for the sunshine.

Do you have something that you are extra thankful for?

Take care my friends and have a blessed day today.

Well, you might think I'm nuts but, I'm thankful that's it finally getting chilly here! Not that I want your kind of cold, but we have so much hot and I really prefer cooler--like 40s during the day. I love cardinals, they make me think of my GrandMoore- my dad's mom.
