Did you know that is a very, very long ways to cross country ski? I didn’t realize just how far it was until we got about 2/3 of the way done and I was tired. I’m not a fast skier, really I’m out there to enjoy myself with Mike so it’s never a race. We started skiing at 5:45 and finished up at 7:30. Candle light skiing is a treat. It was just the perfect temp at zero with no wind, wonderful candle lite trails and a full moon. We took some pictures, some good, some okay but I wanted to share them with you anyways.
Today the kids got to see the kids. My daycare got to go see the baby goats. They loved it. I love baby goats, they love to be held, cuddled and they suck on your fingers, nose, clothes. Take a peek….
I took a few pictures of the kids at home too for their parents Valentine gifts. Not positive which ones I’ll use but here’s my little ones.
And last but not least….
It’s nap time….really neep time…
So that was our day. A great day. Wouldn’t trade today for a million bucks.
Tomorrows a new day. Shopping in the morning, an Eagle Court of Honor in the afternoon and then hopefully a relaxing evening. That is if I can even move after skiing today. I did fall 4 times, two pretty good ones and two just sorta slips. 3 I got up on my own, one Mike just took his skis off and picked me up. I didn’t know he could do that. He said, I am 17 mom and you’re not that big.
Good night my friends. Sleep well, I’m betting I will, at least I’m hoping so. Take care and God Bless!!

Baby goats are precious!!!!! Love the nap time pictures, too.
Awww that is so cute - both the "kids" and the story about you and Mike. Really REALLY sweet!!
The pics are all fabulous, but I'm a sucker for the baby goats--OMG! So precious!
And I think "neep" is gonna be my new word, if that's okay?!!?
Ha - the kids visit the kids! Love that.
And there is something about baby goats, they really are as cute as can be.
I've never heard of candle lite skiing---sounds like a beautiful event!!
