Well, there is good news and bad news about my Christmas decorations this year.
Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations.
The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever.
Great stories. But two things made me take it down.
First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.
Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top,she was not happy. By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that.
My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.
Kind of feel like I gave in to the man by taking him down but my neighbor did confirm to near miss accidents on the busy street next to my house. I think I made him too real this time So it was fun while it lasted.
I had to share this with you this morning. It was just to cute not too.
I think I’m fighting off a cold, I’m tired, cold and slightly stuffy. I went to Terri’s (she’s does natural healing goodies) and she gave me some elderberry tincture and super tonic to take along with the colloidal silver and if that doesn’t cure me then nothing will. I do so appreciate her making sure I’m healthy though and will try just about anything she sends my way. If you want to, go to www.cedarheavencreations.com and check her out.
Okay, off to fixing the third breakfast of the day and then some scouting paperwork. The kids are going to work on Craft Challenge #4 today. Borax snowflakes. I’ll be sharing them tomorrow or Sunday with you.
Take care and God Bless!!!
P.S. My mama’s friend Cleo has cancer and is just not doing very well at all. She’s almost 90 years old and has been able to do everything for everyone for so long and now is just so weak. She’s a giver but now it’s time for her to be a getter. So please pray for her and her husband Richard. He’s so lost without Cleo taking care of him.

Oh dear - I thought you had some major holiday lights and decor, but then I saw the pic. Sorry but I've got to laugh. I can't believe the 75 year old lady climbed up!
Sorry to hear about Cleo.
Julie... this was totally brillant, I love it and I am so disappointed for you that you had to take him down, but good for you for taking photos. You are a crafter after my own heart.
I'm still laughing at the image and the story. Isn't it nice to know there are still good people in this world willing to help a stranger in difficulty... now that is the real holiday spirit.

Julie... that is TOO FUNNY - I love it. Like Paula your a creator of my heart also. That is something I would love to have on my house also - we have a neighbour with a santa falling in his chimney and my son loves that - so I will have to make sure I show him your blog. Thoughts and prayers to Cleo & Richard - a hard time for both of them am sure.
